I'm using a a square monitor display(16") @ a resolution of 1280x1024. And I recently just bought a HDTV (Rectangle 20")@ a resolution of 1920x1080 (FullHD). This new hdtv is way more wider than the monitor which i really like widescreen. Also I do care about ppi which i'm very noob for technology and wanted to ask you. Does the hdtv have more ppi or not? (All i know is that tv has far lesser ppi than monitor because you will be sitting at further away.)

So which one is better for me?
I'm using my pc alot recently and better display for using? I do like the better vivid color of the hdtv but i need the ppi as my face is even lesser than 30 feet away form the monitor.
