Whats up with Freesync? any 1440p 144hz 27 inch reasonably priced monitors?

im looking into a nice 300 series gpu when those come out soon and want to know what kind of freesync monitors will be available when this technology is available to the public.

ive heard that benq has got one of these but its not for sale?

will any 7000 series gpu's support the new tech? ive got 7870's in cfx.
