I have just installed Windows 8.1 Pro and I'm updating my drivers. Everything is fine until I try the latest Nvidia Driver (347.52-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql)

The program boots to install the drivers and then states that it is not compatible.

Can anyone help me? I have a GTX 970 and would like to get the drivers sorted asap!

This is an existing rig that I have updated from Windows 7. Everything worked fine before, the drivers updated on Windows 7 64-bit but not with the new OS

Tried to test the drivers by opening The Witcher 2 and even the opening credit videos stuttered terribly. Anyone have a clue?

When you go to device manger and look at the video device, what does it say? if it say nvidia, doulbe click it and see if the driver is by microsoft or nvidia.

And did you install chipset drivers.
