Monitor showing vertical coloured lines??????

my monitor is showing vertical lines going from the top to the bottom everything is blurry and I can't read what is on my screen. it was just working I think the tower got bumped. what should I do to try to fix this problem.

Make sure your connection is good (hdmi or whatever you are using) if you have a gpu re-install it and re-install the ram.
