Does a DVI-I dual link to VGA adapter work?

I recently got a second monitor as a gift. I already have a monitor connected to my computer by a VGA cabel. Both of my monitors only have a VGA input, but my graphic card has only one VGA input. My graphic card is ATI Radeon HD 5450 1G, which means it has a VGA, DVI-I and a HDMI input. Can I connect my second monitor with a DVI-I to VGA adapter? Thanks in advance!
