Buying 1600mhz ram vs 1866

if i buy 1600mhz ram at 1.5 volts and 1866 ram also at 1.5v if i over clock the 1600mhz ram to 1866 will the voltage increase as well as the latency? or should i go with the 1866 and overclock? (prices are good now, i wont spend large sums of money just for 1866)

Get the higher end, OCing DRAM often requires additional voltage and loosening of the timings...With todays prices you can even often get 2400/10 DRAM (say 2x4GB GSkill Trident 2400/10) at about $75 (NewEgg), the same and less than some 1600 sets
