So I need a monitor because I am gaming on a 32" HDTV at 1920x1080p (60Hz) My r9 280x is always above 60FPS So I need a new gaming monitor because of the response time and Hz.
I saw the best monitors and I the Overlord Tempest x270OC because it is cheap, maybe 120Hz and 1440P! So as you know the monitor is something I will have for some years.

My questions:
1) Is the Overlord a good choice or Should I go with a 1080p at 120-144Hz?
2)Can my R9 280X get around 45-50 fps on 1440P(Shadow of mordor, GTAV, CoD?
#3)Can my GPU good enough for BF4 at 1440p?
4) What is the most important factor on BF4? Response time? (In that case is it better the 1-2ms 1080p monitor)

Thanks!

I can only awnser question #3;

No. A 280X won't be enough for 1440p @ ultra 60fps. 2 of them is barely enough. i know becaus I had two of them and switched to a single 970 , which can handle those settings without jetengine sounds :)

Oh and #4 also; A 1ms screen vs a 6ms IPS is just a matter of adaptiveness. The LAN ms delay (20-120ms, depends on the server) is the most annoying. The milllliiiiseconds of screenrespons is just a matter of practise!

From what I've read... buyer beware with the Overlord. They aren't guaranteed to get 120 hz and some people report not even getting to 96 hz. Apparently there's some luck of the draw. People also report loud "coil whine" noises while overclocked. I'm staying away.
