Would a Radeon 7750 to a 7850 upgrade be worth it?

Hey everyone,
I'm planning on buying a new GPU for my system. I currently have a 7750 and I'm planning to upgrade to a 7850. I was initially thinking about getting something like a R9 270x, but I don't think my power supply can handle it. If the 7850 isn't a good upgrade is there any other cards you would suggest? I'm playing on a 1366 x 768 resolution and plan to play most games on medium- high settings.

Here's my specs:
GPU: Radeon 7750
CPU: AMD A10-6800k
PSU: Antec VP-450W
MOBO: MSI A58M-E33

According to Tom's hierarchy chart, you would want to make at least a 3 tier move to see any real improvement. Your upgrade is a 4 tier move. Go for it.

Should still be OK with the 450W Antec's 360W +12V rail. It is a 130W card maxed out: http://www.hwcompare.com/12034/radeon-hd-7750-vs-radeon-hd-7850/
...and the A10 is a 100W CPU.

Just so you know, the newer R9-265 is the same card. Just been re-branded.

EDIT: Did a little research and the R9-265 doesn't seem to exist.. Were you referring to the R7-265?

Indeed I was. Typo.
Since they are the same card internally, get whichever you find the best deal on. I just mentioned it so you would have more options for that class of card.
