How do you overclock a gtx 860M mobile GPU?

I've been struggling to overclock my nvidia mobile GPU.

I'm used to using MSI afterburner or EVGA Precision X, but they don't seem to work.

Precision X crashes when I try to load it and MSI afterburner resets it to factory clock once I commit any core clock/memory clock change.

I was wondering if there is another application that you use to overclock mobile variants of GPU's. Any insight would be nice.

if i'm right nvidia has disabled the overclocking of maxwell mobile gpus with their driver, i do not know the reason.

I read that too.
However I'm using a 860M in my notebook and I can over clock it using MSI Afterburner.....
