USB3 Ports Not Working on an Asrock x99 Extreme board

Hello, I recently built a computer and I have had trouble getting the USB 3 ports to work on my Asrock X99 Extreme board. I made sure the latest motherboard drivers were installed and the USB 3 is enabled in the bios. When I run USBTreeView, any USB 3 devices plugged into the USB 3 ports dont run at USB 3 speeds but USB 2.1 speeds instead. Plus I get the Windows 7 message on bootup that the USB 3 device would run better if it were plugged into a USB 3 port. Has anyone else experienced this and would have any insight of how to fix it?

what are your USB3.0 devices? maybe that's the reason...

Hi I have tried using the NETGEAR A6210 usb network device that is definitely USB 3 (blue plug). I have also tried using the Logitech H600 audio device which also the blue plug.

i think network device and audio device rarely run up to USB3.0 speed is the main reason?
