6 1/2 year old power supply - Will it work with new components?

I have a Zalman ZM1000-HP power supply in my current 6 1/2 year old system. I'm looking to upgrade on a budget to an Intel i5, 16gb of DDR3 1866, and probably a cheaper video card (somewhere near the Geforce 750 line). Will my power supply be able to support these new components or will I need to upgrade that as well?

Honestly? You could probably run SLI'd 980's with that PSU. A 750 with an i5 won't even come close to pushing your PSU.

Little concerned about the age though. That is a pretty good unit though.
