What to do with extra thin client?

I have access to several extra thin client pieces of hardware (Wyse HDX) which are relatively new but I'm not sure if I can do anything with them. I took one home today, took it apart. No hard drive, some unidentifiable ram, 2 usb ports, dvi out. The processor is an integrated chip from Marvell. I've tried just simply sticking an Ubuntu USB stick in one port and booting it up - no change. It went straight to the Citrix desktop.

Do you have any ideas of something fun/useful to be done with these?

Those devices are specifically made to work with Citrix remote desktop environments. You can get XenDesktop as a trial download, but you really need a VDI infrastructure to make those useful.
