Can a ThermalTake TR-2 500W run R9 270 OC?

Notice that it's R9 270- NOT r9 270x.

Being that thermaltake releases many different psu's under the same name, this is My exact model of it:

It's bronze certified and is supposed to have a japanese main capacitor..

my cpu is i5-3470 no OC

Those are low quality Compucase-made units. Why bother with 1 good capacitor when the rest are crap? BOOM!

I have to say that i'm abit confused about all these claims of "low quality"...and I'll elaborate:

The "high quality" psu's still produce all kinds of "horror stories" on newegg, about psu's "blowing up my computer", or "this is pure junk- stay away!". Among those reviewed psu's , there are plenty of Tier1 and tier2 units.

Of course, statistically speaking, the comparison is very problematic, when units like tr-2 have very little reviews.

After roaming in newegg, i get the impression that ALMOST ALL models are a "potential nuclear bomb"..

Something here just doesnt add up . I'll be happy to get a convincing and elaborate explanation to this situation...
