ASUS MX279H good or bad?

So after searching for a monitor around $200 I chose the ASUS MX279H. It has great specs and is IPS. I don't do alot of FPS mostly sky rim and RTS games. I'll be runing it with an Evga 970. I know its only 75hz but since I don't need 144hz i traded it for budget and great picture quality. Is it great for $250?

I have the 23' version, the Asus MX239H. It has been a pretty good monitor, games, pictures and movies look great on it. However it does take a little bit of color calibration to get it to look right.

Reviewers on newegg.com have given both monitors great and bad reviews. So it's kind of hit and miss on if you get a good panel or not.

Yeah but for the price most IPS monitors under $500 are average
