How do i connect my xbox one to my AOC vga monitor? I have a vga to hdmi cable, but it just reads no signal. I also used that same cable to connect my computer tower to my FUNAI HD TV and it also didn't read. Am I doing something wrong or do I have a bad cable? Another issue is that my monitor doesn't have any built in speakers, so how exactly would I get sound?

You need a HDMI to VGA adapter:

Or use a HDMI monitor, your HD monitor doesn't has a HDMI input?
