Recommend me a good monitor

Well as the title says, I really need a recommended monitor for me, I have a great PC for gaming its amazing and running all games at the best its just I got a monitor called "HP L1750" I really don't know if its good or not yet, so I really need something like uhm Not more than like 100-120$, that's all I can afford so far and I want the screen size like 15-17 ( I dont want it over big and not small as my current)
