Is a PC worth it for me?

I'm a bit curious, I've been debating for months between getting a PS4 or building a new system for months now. I've always been a more casual gamer and don't have many friends on the PC, with most of them on the PS4. I don't have any "current-gen" consoles and my PC seems to be lagging behind in a few games (or they just don't look that pretty). If I was to build a PC, my budget would, at most £450. This is a link to the system I would build: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/hkQ9pg
However, I don't know if I can be bothered putting money into a PC, as I don't want to have to upgrade it to play the games I want for the next 2-3 years and I don't want to have to play them in minimum settings.

well first of all i think you went too cheap on the graphic card(graphic cards are the most important peace of hardware to splurge on imo) so i picked out a better one... you will be going 20 over budget but it will be well worth it... i know cpu coolers are good but a better graphic card is MUCH better, so i took the cpu cooler out and put a better graphics card... IMO definitely go for the better gpu and don't get the cpu cooler or get the cpu cooler and better graphics card... heres the3 link to my modified version of the build btw... - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/XCsCkL
and with the better graphics card the pc will be more future proof... this pc is a lot better than any console btw...
