My current rig has a GTX690 with i7 2600k.
I'm interested in buying a ultrawide qhd 3440 x 1440p monitor, however I'm concerned with the 2gb vram. I know the GPU power is decent, but am worried about running that resolution. I don't really expect to run AA, probably medium to high settings.
I'm confused because I see several posts about people worried of Vram issues at that resolution, yet I remember seeing the gtx690 benchmarked running at 5760 x 1080p playing several games at playable frame rates on high settings. See here:

I'm looking for say 70-100 frames at say medium settings for FPS.
Acer is supposedly releasing a 3440x 1440 gsync 144hz monitor soon...
I know I can't expect 144hz with my 690, but I love the sound of synced frames on a ultrawide with 60-100fps.
Should I be worried with 690 with 2gb vram?
