My friend told me there are plans to implement it so occulus use 1 gpu per eye is this true?

Also till my 2nd gpu arrives will the psu be okay running at 300-400 watts for a week?(i dont want to install if it will kill or damage my components while i wait for 2nd gpu to arrive)

Thanks for replys.

Your specs are above what is needed for a decent fps! It should be be able to run at 60fps at 1080p. Yes, they are considering it. Nvidia calls it VR SLI if you want to check it out. It won't be bad for your PSU, but it will just hurt your power bill. It will only draw as much wattage as needed so you are fine.

Ok thanks for reply. glad i can relax and put new psu in. Few more question is it okay to crossfire HIS iPower IceQ X² H290XQM4GD Radeon R9 290X with XFX Double Dissipation R9-290X-EDFD Radeon R9 290X? Worried because HIS specs say boost clock 1000mhz and XFX says core clock 1000mhz. Does that mean it will own clock occasionally to keep pace with HIS? Or are they not compatible period do to HIS and XFX bieng different brands?
