My condo doesn't have central air, so in the summer my office can get a bit warm. The only A/C comes from a huge wall unit in the living room. I'm currently running a dated Phenom 940 with the stock cooler. It never got above 60C in the summer while gaming, but since I'm looking to do a new mobo/cpu build, I figure it's the best time to entertain an aftermarket cooler.
Would the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO produce a noticeable difference in CPU temps? My full size case has excellent cooling, and I'm not looking to overclock the CPU.
I keep hearing that the 212 evo is the best, but please feel free to offer other suggestions.
Thanks!
