screen resolution issue with windows 10

I hav recently installed windows 10 and unlike windows 7 it have not detected the screen resolution of my monitor ... which is 1440*900 rather it is bieng set to.. 1024*1028.... any solutions will be greatly appreciated ...thanks in advance....

You need to install the drivers for your graphics card. What gpu are you using?

I would get the drivers from the computer vendors website and download those.

Is it a virtual machine? I had the same issue when running it under VirtualBox and had to manually add resolutions to the VM config file. If it's not a virtual machine make sure you're using the latest Windows 8.1 drivers for your system.
