I have a 780ti classified kingpin that I have been using with a really old 5ms lcd monitor from about 6 years ago. Today I purchased an asus vg278h with some 3d vision glasses from ebay to use with my system. My cpu is a 4790k on a asus maximus hero 7 mobo with 16 gb ram. My question is, how do i utilize both the 3d and 120 hz refresh effectively with the monitor i got, when the monitor doesn't use displayport? I thought for 120 hz a displayport was necessary for high speed refresh rate. Which cable would i use that is compatible with both the graphics card and the monitor to utilize all of the benefits of this setup? Thanks.

Dual link DVI-D also supports 120 Hz at that resolution, and after checking ASUS's site for that monitor, dual link DVI-D is listed as the only input on that screen that supports NVIDIA 3D Vision. So, dual link DVI-D it is!
