I've been thinking for a while now about buying a second monitor. The problem is, I have only 1 HDMI port (which is currently being used by my current monitor). The monitor I bought came with a DVI cable, which I used at first. It didn't seem to pick up the signal and there was no input option to choose DVI. The HDMI works, and it's fine.
Would the only way for me to connect a second monitor be through VGA? DVI was supposed to work, but it didn't, and I don't want to buy a second monitor and cables when it turns out to not work at all.
The attached photo is a picture of the back of my tower (just in case there is another option for input.) I also want to check that it is in fact a VGA output.
