Dual monitors colours are very different dispite using calibration software

Ive got an Acer 24 inch monitor that as far as Im conserned has very good colour accuracy, but recently got a HDTV as a second monitor through HDMI.

I cleared any exsiting colour profiles in place and used Eye-One Match 3 with a i1 sensor to calibrate the screens.


After using advanced mode, they both look very different. I know screens have different color reprentations and this HDTV is pretty shitty, but I thought the software would make sure that each one shows the same colours using the hardware???

Any help and advise?

I don't think monitor profiling software can deal with a dual monitor setup to apply two different profiles simultaneously.
