Can my mobo handle DDR2400

My current Setup
Mobo: ASUS P8Z77-V IvyBridge
CPU: Intel i7 3770K
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231428

Read around that the IB mobo's only support up to 1600, and only recommend 1.5v. Was thinking on upgrading to 16gb (2x8GB) with these (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231673). But they are 2400, higher timings (11-13-13-31 at 1.65v).

According to GSKILL website, my mobo can support it, but not sure I want to OC it.

Or should I just get some 2x8GB 1600 ?

Same then, with the 3770K can prob run 2400 at 2400, most all 3770Ks can run them

Would I have to manually OC? or looks like I can just use an XMP prof and plug it in?

seems to be able to just use XMP profile.

(I don't OC much to be honest, so OC would be new to me)

Yep, enable XMP and everything will run at full speed.
