Hi, I'm new here. I've just completed a budget build and I was thinking of getting a Sapphire Radeon R9 270 Dual-X. Would a Corsair VS Serie VS450, Non-Modular, 80+ be able to support this? I have no plans to OC.

I have currently:
Intel G3258 Anniversary, 1150
2 x 4GB G-Skill RipJaws PC3-12800U CL9
Crucial MX100 SSD 256GB - 6GB/s
WD Blue 1TB - 6GB/s
MSI B85-G43, ATX

Thanks for any advice.

You should be fine, it's a 150w gpu and 60w cpu and the VS450 has over 400w on the +12v rail. Do you already own the VS450?

I think the g3258 would bottleneck in some situations at stock, but not often and not a lot. However, you can get it up to near 4ghz with the stock cooler anyway

Thanks for the help.

Yes, I have all components already installed running off a VS450. I have a Sapphire 7850 Dual-X (x1) in there already that I'm replacing.
