I was wondering which of these three would be best to display on my monitor. The mobo i have in mind is the GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming GTGIGABYTE GA-Z97X-Gaming GT... It has all three ports.

Could you give me an answer with an explanation? Im kind of new, any answers will be appreciated!

DVI and HDMI are both digital, VGA is analog. The video signal sent over DVI and HDMI are essential the same, so they can be considered equal. The best one is actually Display Port, but most users won't notice a large change between the 3 digital ports.
So of the 3, personally I'd go DVI, then HDMI, then VGA.
I also found an article that talks about the different ports:

There is also a forum post on Tomshardware that talks about it:

VGA is analog while DVI ad HDMI digital signals , and between hdmi and dvi , i would choose dvi cause DVI cannot be pulled of easily , while can be pulled out easily , and there should'nt be of any difference btw hdmi or dvi in the uoutput quality
