All and any advice will be welcome. Sorry for the long post. But i wanted to be detailed.
I have already bought all thats listed above except the graphics cards. Currently im running a basic GT 610. Right now im still in the process of installing windows (buying a new hard drive today) Figuring thats why it won't boot up properly since my old one has windows 7 already on it.

If it were me based on how much you spent on the processor I would get 1 GTX 970. But of those 3 I would recommend the evga gtx 960 but get it on amazon it's $205 there.

Here are my suggestions:

Minimum PSU requirment:

- GTX 960 = 430W
- GTX 750 Ti = 400W
- R9 280X = 600W

So based on the PSU requirement the Rosewill can only accommodate GTX 750 Ti.

Also tell me your monitor size. Based on that we can decide what GPU along with the PSU.

- GTX 960 = 1080p gaming with High/Ultra High Graphical Fidelity
- GTX 750 Ti = 720p gaming Ultra High Graphical Fidelity / 1080p gaming with Medium-High Graphical Fidelity
- R9 280X = 1080p / 1440p gaming with High/Ultra High Graphical Fidelity

Upgrade RAM from 4GB to 8GB.

Motherboard is decent. But will decide on that latter. Just let me know the info I asked for. I'll guide you in the right direction.

Cheers!

Then I would suggest this:

If you like NVIDIA, get the GTX 960.

- Needs only 430W PSU.
- Has 4GB VRAM.
- Great for 1080p gaming, may be able to play all games well till mid to end of 2016.
- Also get The Witcher 3 game for free.
- The down sides are, its a 128-bit card that's priced high at $239.99 and cannot match R9 380x on performance.

If you like AMD, get R9 280X:

- Amazing for 1080p gaming, may play all games with ultra high graphical fidelity and last you well into 2017.
- Has a beefy 384-bit memory interface with 3GB VRAM, with great value oriented deal considering its price $259.99, only $20 above a 128-bit card.
- The only downside is, it needs a beefy 600W PSU.

Note: AMD is releasing new R9 380 Series cards in June 2015.

So if you pick AMD, I would suggest that you wait till June 2015 and see what card you can get for better price.

Make your decision on the GPU. Then we will proceed further.

I was heavily thinking about the 280x DD edition one only because it will last a long time. With the fan set up, and liquid cooling im going to be doing (I won't be over clocking) it will last me a few years with out having to upgrade. And XFX offers a life time warrenty as well just for buying the product. On the AMD site it says 750w minimum for the card. Is that because they used the best processor motherboard and specs possible for the set up? Take in mind im upgrading from a core 2 duo processor to a 6 core 6300, a GT 610 64bit interface (made the wrong purchase, but i can still play far cry 3 on it on high LOL) and a switching to ddr3 ram with a new motherboard. With the GT 610 and the fx 6300 do you think my fps will increase? I had to use a ultra low mod for far cry 3 to actually run at 720p high settings. and that was with the duo 2 core. Question is i guess do you think the old processor was bottlenecking the GT 610?

About the 750W PSU suggested by AMD:

Manufacturers usually suggest a higher PSU than what actually required is because they don't know what brand PSU the person might use. The recommended minimum is 600W, only if the person chooses a good PSU.

If the person chooses a low quality 600W PSU, the card may not perform well due to not getting enough power or in worst case may even fry the card. So this is one of the primary reason why manufacturers like AMD specify a far higher PSU requirement than what is actually required.

We can pick a good 650W PSU. That will be more than enough to power your entire setup including the FX 6300 and R9 280X DD.

With the GT 610 and the fx 6300 do you think my fps will increase?
I don't think so. May be 1-2 FPS.

Do you think the old processor was bottlenecking the GT 610?
I don't think so. As GT 610 is an entry level GPU.

So here is what I suggest:

Rocking the skyline r07 case right now, it fits my needs, comes with 7 fans for better cooling and ventilation, aslo comes with enough slot bays for when i upgrade to 6 tybts of storage. so the stock cooler on my 6300 processor will do fine till i have enough money to do more upgrades. The ram im sticking with the same brand. All the old parts on this new computer that ill have will go to a new computer for my girl friend so we can play diablo 3 ROS together. (Finally found a woman that likes video games woot!) I figured out why my motherboard wouldnt recognize the hard drive i had, the software on it is too old, and the mobo is newer technology. So im actually buying a new one from best buy 1tb 7200 rpm for 60 bucks (no need for waiting for shipping)
