Hello. My question is: Will buying a cheap second monitor with a different refresh rate work well? Will it impact my computer's performance if refresh rates are not the same?
Extra Info: I'm buying a cheap second monitor to check Twitch chat and Teamspeak while in game without having to tab out. My current monitor is the BenQ XL2420Z. The second monitor would be a different size, different refresh rate, same resolution. Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Here are my specs:
CPU - Intel Core i7 4790K
Graphics Card - ASUS GeForce GTX 980 Strix
Motherboard - Gigabyte Z97X-SLI
Memory - G.SKILL TridentX 16GB
SSD - Samsung 850 EVO Series 250GB
Extra Storage - Seagate Barracuda 3TB
Case - Phanteks Enthoo Pro Full Tower
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master Hyper T4
Power Supply - Seasonic G-750 Gold 750W ATX 80PLUS
Monitor - BenQ XL2420Z
