All games freezing, got new graphics card with no change. Think it's the motherboard?

Hey guys. My PC has had issues from it's conceptioin. Hanging upon restart was fixed with a new motherboard. I got my graphics card replaced because of games crashing and freezing. The games are still freezing, no crashes yet but it hasn't been that long. I just want to play games without having to deal with freezing every twenty minutes. I don't know what else it could be. As far as I'm concerned there aren't any overheating issues.

Did you just say 16 megabytes of memory? Or do you mean 16 gigabytes. If 16 Megabytes which i highly dought then upgrade the ram

Sorry! I do that a lot by accident, I meant gigabytes. I'm so frustrated with my PC. My ex boyfriend was my computer guy and now it's awkward to ask for help.
