For the most part, these two are the same. Aside from one being Intel and one being AMD, the SSD is the only change. Most of my build will be for gaming, though there will be basic schoolwork and whatnot done on it as well. Right now I'm on a single ASUS VG248QE, though I want to end up using 3 in surround by the time I'm done with it all. Which of these is better on the whole? Any changes you would make to them? Thanks for the help!

AMD:
- MSI A88X-G43 ATX FM2+ mobo
- AMD A10-6790K 4.0GHz CPU
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB GPU
- 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1600 RAM
- 256GB Crucial V4 SSD
- 1TB Western Digital Blue 7200RPM HDD
- Corsair CX 600W power

Intel:
- ASRock H97 Anniversary ATX LGA1150 mobo
- Intel Core i5 4440 3.1 GHz CPU
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB GPU
- 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws X Series DDR3 1600 RAM
- 128GB Sandisk SSD
- 1TB Western Digital Blue 7200RPM HDD
- Corsair CX 600W power

Why switch to Samsung SDD? It's so much more expensive haha. Will I have any issues running max / close to max settings with the three monitors off the single 970? Most games are pretty basic - Counterstrike, CoD, Battlefield, Grid, GTA V, etc.

Okay. Well like I said, I only have one right now anyway... 3 isn't until a ways down the road. I just took off the SDD completely for now since it isn't a necessity and used the extra cash on the motherboard. Swapped the H97 Anniversary for the Z97 Extreme 3. This way I have plenty of space for more RAM or an extra GPU later on. It's also nice to have the optical port and 4 USB 3.0 ports on the back of it.
