Does this cooler fit to e8400 cpu

I looked that the cooler is 775 compatible however intel core 2 duo is not listed in this cooler list. So I was wondering if i can use it or not.

Or maybe you guys know any other suitable cooler? Price should be around 30$

E8400 is a standard 775 socket cpu.

Google image the E8400 and any other 775 socket cpu and you should see no difference.


Related question: Does your case come with space behind the cpu on the motherboard-install-plate-thing that lets you install a backplate? Assuming you had the stock cooler that plugs into the front this may not be something you had to deal with before.
