Hello,

Currently I have 2x4GB "Corsair 8GB KIT DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Vengeance"
I just bought used 2x8 GB "Corsair 16GB KIT DDR3 1866MHz CL10 Vengeance"

What do you think that is the best option for me? Will they work together?
Use them all (heard something about ram disk, maybe need to dig deeper into it) or try to sell the 2x4 kit as it's not worth the problems combining the rams?

PC is mostly used for gaming (pls don't say that 8GB is enough for it as GTA5 on full uses 7GB ram + 10GB paging), I just made little upgrade (GPU, SSD, RAM).

My PC:
MB: GIGABYTE Z77-D3H
CPU: I7 3770K
GPU: MSI GTX 970
PSU: Corsair VS650
Disk: 128GB SSD + 512GB SSD + 512 GB WD green

I installed all of them and they were running at 1600 cl10. Now I use 2x8 at 1866 and windows performance score moved from 7.8 to 7.9 for memory.
Anyway even 16g of ram feels like overkill to me, but my GPU needs more than 8. Paging used in gta5 that I mentioned in op is wrong, but MSI afterburner + rivatunner server are showing that nonsense even when I changed page file to 1gb.
Reason for ram upgrade was crashing system with small page file when loading more than 2900mb into GPU.
So much shit going with building/upgrading PC. I promise myself that when my current build will be outdated I'm moving to consoles.
Hope, there will be ps5 comeing out at that time.
