Elgato Capture Card

Hello Guys thanks for taking time to read my thread,

For the pas few days I've been trying to figure out how to use my Elgato Capture card to capture my monitor and stream through obs. The only reason I bought the card was to take off CPU Stress. I really haven't had much luck. Could you suggest on what I can do to this.

The PC monitor signal is most likely HDCP protected and can not be captured.

I can capture the monitor, but when I stream through OBS it drops frames and hangs around 13 and then goes back to 60 it doesnt stay at a constant 60fps. I am trying to stream at 720p 60fps.

Ah, I see! So you may want to double check the resources on your PC while streaming. I don't think, this box does much on it's own. Al the re-coding for the stream is done by the software anyway.

Ah, I see! So you may want to double check the resources on your PC while streaming. I don't think, this box does much on it's own. Al the re-coding for the stream is done by the software anyway.

I have a i7 4790 16GB Ram and GTX 770 4GB, I think this is enough for streaming. So I want to know if the card actually does anything or not
