When GPU is under full load, pc shut's down.

Today I installed an after-market cooler to my GPU.
Using this cooler has dropped the temps massively.
When using my PC normally, like browsing the internet, every things fine. However when I start playing a game, after 10-20 minutes the screen goes black, a weird "UUUUUUUH" noise happens, then the PC shut's down.

It isn't a temperature problem, for sure. With the new cooler, under full load, the highest temp Ive seen so far is 45C.

Here a list of things I think could be causing this :

1.The GPU cooler is quite heavy, and the GPU is sagging maybe pulling it out of place?
2. The cooler is short-circuiting on the gpu.
3. The 4 pin to molex connector isnt connected properly.

Here's the connector : http://www.arctic.ac/uk_en/4-pin-adapter.html#?bild0

It was coming from my headset, so yes.

Do you have any spare RAM to try?

2 x 4GB

Try 1 of the 4's on it's own in slot 1, if it still does it, try the other stick on it's own in slot 1.

Ive tried that and it still happens. Something I did do though, was I ran a gpu stress test in 1920x1080 Windowed for half an hour and nothing happened. I then played Killing Floor 1 for two hours and nothing happened. It only seems to happen when Im playing a game, and the gpu is under full load or just about.

Its only when under full load and when playing a game, it happens. So im unsure if its the cooler thats the problem.
