Help with my ROG swift monitor DP cable broken what replacement do I need?

Hello people!.

I recently broke my Displayport 1.2 cable for ROG swift pg278q monitor 144hz Gsync monitor.
My issue is when getting a replacement I found a couple of different advertised cables one says HDCP & Max resolution wgxhd 2560x 1600 & another that says it supports 1080p & 4k at 60 hz.

I thought Displayport are all the same? Why & how can I know which is the one for my monitor, not just what works,but which is better or rather performs equivalent to the original that came with it...? I see variations in price not just based on size but on specs & not what appears to be just to sell at higher but appears like I should be more sure before buying. Thanks guys for any replies at all..

can you link the cables you were looking at? I'm sure its just the wording of the advertisement that is throwing you off.

better price and it will work fine for you. Glad we got that PC figured out you almost back to 100%

Lol...yeah it's all good now got the cable.Thanks again, it is more or less just marketing nonsense in most cases with the wording, but nevertheless best to be sure from the experts which I'm not.
