How to make sure that a monitor is in a good condition ?!! Please Help !

Hello Guys,

I'm going to buy a Used 24 Inch Samsung monitor because i'm on a real low budget at the moment and i was wondering how to make sure that the monitor is clear from issues..i know one way which is using Dead Pixel Test to make sure that all pixels are working normally, is there other ways like these to make sure that the monitor is in a good condition ? Thanks !

Just use it and use your own eyes.
Dead pixels and other stuffs can be easily recognized.
Until now, I have never used special programs beside my eyes.
Monitors with dead pixels are quite rare...you are a bit unlucky if you get one.
In my life, I got only 1 monitor until now with dead pixel problem.
