COmputer screen goes grey

just put a ssd hard drive into my computer and all of a sudden the screen randomly turns grey. cant do anything at else all, but i can still hear things.

reseat all cards, ram & cables for just in case you knocked 1 a bit loose when installing the ssd drive.
