I Have an older pc sitting around and have decided to sell on as it has been sitting unused for well over a year and a bit.
This is more to find an average impartial price as I don't want to overcharge anyone or lose out.
A friend is interested for his first PC and I hate coming up with a price that suits.

Specs are:

Asus P5Q deluxe motherboard
Intel Q9550 E0 stepping(never got around to overclocking it though)
Noctua nh-d14(possibly included, was in this system until I built a new one, thinking of upgrading current system)
Kingston value ram 2x2gb 800mhz
Sapphire Radeon HD6870 1gb
XFX pro 750w semi-modular power supply
Fractal R3 case
No Hdd although I could pop a mechanical in there if needs be.

Any help at all would be very much appreciated!

Thank you for the reply. Including the noctua cooler in that estimate?

Everything to make it a working computer. The Q9550 is a great processor; your friend will be happy!

Very Rough estimate of about 850. Everything except the processor, ram and cpu was bought in 2012. I remember the original build costing about 1200 at the time around 2010. Then upgrading everything around the cpu, ram and motherboard in 2012

So calculate it like this:

$850 (original cost)
$150 (salvage value)
3 years owned

So:

$850 - $150 / 3 = $233.33

Year 1:
$850 - $233.33 = $566.67

Year 2:

$566.67 - $233.33 = $333.34

Year 3 (if selling in May)

$233.33 * (5/12) = $97.22

$333.34 - $97.22 = $236.12

So accurately you can get anywhere from $200 (loss) - $250 (gain) depending on the condition.
