Hi, I have some racing games that my laptop will not play, And I've been wanting to buy a Gaming PC for a while now but I don't know which one to go with. I saw the alien ware area 51 $1,700 model. I was just curious if this PC would work or have any recommendations? The Games I would play on it : NFS Hot Pursuit - 2010, NFS Shift 1+2, NFS The Run, NFS Most Wanted - 2012, NFS Rivals, The Crew, Driver San Fran Sisco, Burnout Paradise, Blur, Maybe the GRID series. All on their default - Med/High Settings. I am just wondering if this PC could do this or are there cheaper options? Thank You So Much!

I would strongly recommend building your own, its quiet easy and straight forward if you do the proper research. Like Shadow said there are many places to find video and step-by-step guides on how to build a computer. TomsHardware has a step-by-step guide and Newegg has videos (both great sources). I put together a build that would be good for your needs:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ NCIX US)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($26.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($135.49 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($63.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial MX100 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($69.00 @ B&H)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($48.45 @ OutletPC)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card ($229.99 @ Micro Center)
Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case ($47.99 @ Micro Center)
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($51.98 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer ($13.98 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($87.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $995.82

If your looking to spend more money on your parts, or need a monitor, headset, mouse, and keyboard I can change the build to suit your needs. Hopefully this will give you a good comparison between an overpriced pre-built and building it yourself. :D
