Samsung S24D390HL keeps losing HDMI signal when playing games

I've been using this monitor for around 4 months without any problems. However, since last week, when I installed and played Medieval II TW, every 3 ~ 5 mins the screen will go black - like it's looking for an input signal, after around 5 seconds the screen will come back up with a box says HDMI on the top left corner.

I replaced the HDMI cable with a new cable, but the problem still persists - only when playing games. If I switch to use the VGA port then there's no problem at all.

try a system restore to before this problem started to see if problem exists as maybe an update caused this problem.
