these are the 2 boards that are available from the nearest store, which of the 2 is better? the gigabyte is pricier but not that much of a difference. i am from south east asia so i dont have much choice. stores here sell more intel sockets. also I don't know about the "vrm" is for. if someone could explain that. might be a deal breaker.

gd80 and ud5 arent available where i live. i am looking forward to crossfire my cards so the 970 might be the last resort since its cheaper. the asus is really pricy so i havent considered it yet unless there is a significant difference for me to pay premium.
