Hi everyone, I currently own a BENQ XL2430T which is a 24" 1080p 144hz TN panel. I find this monitor very good but slightly lacking in colour. I originally chose this monitor for the fast response time.

I did a little searching and found a Samsung S27D850T 27" 1440p 60hz PLS panel. I can get this for £300-£400. Is this monitor worth the upgrade? Is this monitor worth the money? Will I be able to get a stable 60fps like I can on most games at 1080p vs 1440p?

My PC specs are Nvidia 970, i5 4690 3.5 ghz, 16gb ram.

You didn't say what you're doing with your computer.
If you do any sort of content creation, 144hz doesn't matter and you should get the panel that has the best baseline performance (color accuracy, viewing angles, uniformity, etc)
If you only game and use the web on your computer then get whatever makes you happy. I suspect the 144hz panel would already be good enough for that.
