Second monitor detected but no display, this one is mind boggling.

So I have my computer with 2 gpu both with HDMI out. Both outs used to work fine and I would use the second one to watch movies from my computer on my TV. This used to work fine. Now It detects the second screen but the screen stays black. Here is where it gets confusing. When I reverse the cords. Display one shows on the TV and display 2 shows on the computer monitor. So what could be happening that makes it not work when reversed.

Did perhaps the resolution on the TV one get changed to one that the tv doesnt support but the monitor does?

I didn't change any settings and both settings look the same. It really is strange.
