Tv or Monitor

I want to buy either a monitor or a tv for my room to play PS4 on, what would be better
LG 25UM65 25 Inches Ultrawide Monitor(2560*1080p) monitor or Sharp LC-32LE341M 32 inches Full HD LED Television(1366*768).i want to play near the display.which is good for eyes?

I wouldn't even look at a TV unless it could display 1080. the desktop icons would be HUGE! lol

I don't think the ps4 will support ultrawide. Givent the price of a ultrawide you should be able to get a decent 1080p TV or second to that a decent 1080p monitor.

what about the ppi of both display?
which looks better for near gameplay.I want to know that Is tv better for Gameplay nearer to display?

The ppi of the monitor will be higher than the TV. The monitor will look better up close and further away.

i would suggest a 1080p monitor or 1080p tv only. given that ps4 is not capable of running games at higher resolutions, buying a higher resolution monitor is pointless.

a monitor would be sharper (smaller, tighter pixels) however a mid-sized tv would be easier to see, navigate and is generally better for console use. i would say go with a 26" monitor or 32" tv, either would work for your needs.

make sure it is HDCP compliant.

Since it's a PS3, you'd be better off with a TV, where it's meant to be played on.

A monitor could be beneficial (when you want to switch to your PC), but assuming that you will only use it for the PS3, go for the TV.
