PC keeps crashing after start up - Blue screen

Need some assistance, my desktop keeps crashing once it boots up. It crashes within a couple of minutes. Here is the error I get:-

c5 Code is usually related to some software/driver conflict, quite hard to pinpoint which one exactly, Driver Verifier could help on that, see how to use it in this thread:

You could also test RAM as mentioned in that thread just to not overlook that possibility.

boot into safe mode f8 if you can boot fine use msconfig turn everything off at start up tab. clear out your video drivers and then reboot. if the error still there see if your anti virus is damaged.

install windows 7 sp1+updates or you will get a various bugchecks if you use a updated video driver on your system.
Current video drivers no longer work around windows 7 RTM bugs.

Planning to install a fresh copy of Win 7, hopefully tonight. Worried about the drivers as my PC is 4 years old. I am using an AM2+ DDR2 motherboard. Also, there are several options to download SP1. Which one is right for me? I have OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0256.1

You have to choose from these two:

windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe - This application installs Sp1 to a 32-bit machine running Windows 7.

windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe - This application installs Sp1 to a 64-bit machine running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.

Depends on whether your current OS is 32bits or 64bits.
