OK, I'm about ready to buy some new DDR4 RAM. I looked on amazon and found that there are different ratings. What is the difference between a module that says 2666MHz C16 and a module that says 2133MHz C13? And what do these numbers actually mean? I appreciate all info offered. By the way, both are Corsair Vengeance LPX modules just different prices.

2666Mhz is the frequency of the RAM (higher is faster, so better) The C (or CL) number is the latency, the delay the RAM takes to operate. A lower C number is faster, but higher frequency RAM will have a higher latency.

In short, the 2666Mhz RAM is faster.

Before you buy anything, please post your motherboard model and CPU, so that I can check what RAM you can run.
