Screen won't turn on after the "Turn off the Display"

So I don't know if this a know issue but I have my power management set (image below) and somehow the display wouldn't turn back on. The only option is to restart the computer. I did try clicking the mouse or pressing keys on the keyboard and still no luck. Any ideas on how to fix that?

it can be an issue if connected by display port cable

some times the monitor wont come out of sleep

A little idea about your video card and psu will help a lot.Please post PC specs.

In the mean team, make sure you have an up-to-date video driver.Good Luck

Sometimes, it can be the monitor itself causing the issue. One of my old monitors NEC LCD's (~2009) required me to turn it on, off, then back on again to get a picture every time I started the computer or the monitor went to sleep.
