Hello everybody.
I am going to build a new system for myself in a couple of months.
Here are the parts i am going to put together.

  • For the mobo i decided to get an ASUS ROG MAXIMUS VII FORMULA;
    The processor of my choise is Intel core i7-4790K (probably i will be overclocking);
    Watercooling system is Corsair H105;
    For the GPU i think i will get the GTX 980Ti as soon as it comes out;
    RAM memory of my choise is Corsair Vengeance XMP 4x8 set;
    Storage device for my sistem is more likely to be a SAMSUNG 850 pro series SSD;
    The PSU is ofcourse by Corsair. I think about 860W will be okay;
    And finally the case. I think everything will perfectly fit in the Thermaltake Chaser MK-I.

What do you think about this build? What can you suggest to get better performance?

Thanks in advance!

Skip that PSU. very overpriced. An EVGA G2 750 or 850 would be a better deal and the same quality.

The H105 is VERY loud and doesn;t cool better than many cheaper and WAY WAY quieter air cooler. Look at the Noctua NH-D14 and the Phanteks tc14 instead for much quieter cooling while performing the same.

Why 32gb RAM? You likely have no use for more than 8gb s this is for gaming. Get 16gb at most.

Thanks for your reply!
I will do a research to find out about this PSU and cooling system you suggested.
As for the ram i would like to mention that i do a lot of video editing and rendering.16 gb will be enough for this?
