but i like intel more since all my laptop/pc are built with intel
im gonna overclock it anyway so which should i get?
also..should i wait for the 300 series or just get a r9 285/gtx960 instead?

The 6300 is fairly powerful CPU onced overclocked a tad, There'd be slight bottlenecks (an often overused and misunderstood word, but I digress) but every game will run at 50+FPS stable ith the graphical settings at maximum.

The 8350 can be overclocked more then 4.2... Get a 6300 or 8350 Intel should be out of the question if its a tight budget.
